Worst place I visited in Tokyo so far. Dirty, and bad smell. The staff was not kind at all, it looked like they are doing a favor feeding you. I order pork with kimuchi but there was only kimuchi and once slice of pork. The rice was very bad flavor and soft. The soup was dirty water. I will never go again.

Easily the best seafood in Ueno. Shellfish BBQ was *AMAZING*, and instructions are in English so there's no confusion. The crab fried rice was the best I've ever had!

The food was really great especially the kanimiso! but a little bit noisy and pricey. Might be good for party and special occassions. But not for casual dinner I guess.

Very fresh shellfish (Live from the tank). Oishi drinks and cheap

The menu here is extensive but the focus is on the live seafood in the tanks right next to the entrance. We got some deep fried school prawns, salted cucumber and cured fish to nibble on while we cooked raw scallops and the miso crab shell on the grill. The food was delicious in general and I really liked to the seafood miso soup. Considering this was our first meal in Japan on this trip, it has set a very high bar for the food to come.

Very nice place for a 2nd round. Seafoods were delicious and the price was reasonable.

Food is fresh and atmosphere is lively but fish is not super fresh compared to other places. Cooked squid lacks flavor. Experience of cooking live seafood is unique.

Food is good for franchise restaurant, gets really loud and Smokey from all the grill. No red meat I'm pretty sure, just seafood grill and alot of other variety side dishes. Price was decent too

I visited one of its branches in Asakusa last nite but food quality is so-so. Grilled tuna collar bone was luke-warm (it was precooked but not reheated properly) and the cooked clams in broth was mediocre as I suspect clams not in season. Worse still I was charged extra in my bill for table charge when the restaurant was only half full. I wonder if different locations would be a better bet?

I visited this place twice and both times I really enjoyed the food and the prices. Drinks are cold too :) Service staff tried very hard and it shows. It is a smoking restaurants, just like all others in Japan. It's unlucky if a customer right next to you decided to smoke.

Need to observe their culture and preference. Staff Doesn't speak much English. So its good if there's a friend here who can be a mediator. Try to enjoy yourselves as much, but do note that there's a service tax of 17% in sgp. Else it's definitely a good deal

Great food and traditional Japanese ambience!!

Grilled eel was very nice, scallops are fresh and tasty. But the star of our dinner was the miso crab luxury fried rice - creamy, fresh, utterly satisfying taste of crab combined with fried rice. Seats are a little narrow

The food is really good and fresh; however, the service has something to be desired. This is my second time to this restraunt, customer still not been treated suitably. Hopefully, I have the chance with my courage to enter it three time. God bless this restaurant!!!!

My family trip couldn’t be accomplished without visiting this restaurant! I have read so many comments via my friends’ social network about how yummy it is. So lucky that the hotel we stay was very close to this branch so we visit this shop 3 times during our 9 days trip. They provided digital menu with EN version.

Fresh Seafood prepared in Sashimi, grilled on fire, freshly cooked , on sushi and deep fried . Best time for dining with chatting, drinking beer, alcoholic soft drink or mixed with fruit juice. Deeserts include almond floats, melon ice, cold mandarins on shaved ice.

Isomaru suisan has many stores throughout Japan, the quality is impressive.Very convenient tools for ordering menu. You can order right off on tablet, in which they have many varieties of seafood selections. Price aren't too expensive either. The place is very suitable for friends or families to come and enjoy a moment together. Good for hanging out and share some beer and talk about stuffs.Staffs were very attentive, when we ask for sauce or more plates, they weren't reluctant at all to grab for us.

Tried a bowl of sashi rice. Reasonable price. Good for a quick lunch.

If you come to this area and would like to try seafood, this restaurant is a good choice. A good tased, fresh and good beer. Apart from foods, so crowded in the evening and the air in the restaurant may not flow well , for non smokers may not like it.

Feel the local but service is for international.Foods was nice especially kani miso. You have to take a long queue but worth. There are many branches in Tokyo.

Very delicious and joyful izakaya restaurant.Beer is the best.

This is one of my favorite seafood joints in Tokyo. Never let you down. The only flaw is that smoking is allowed inside, but this is quite normal in Japan. Just be prepared and you’ll have a good time there.

Fun fun fun. Super casual. Cook your own live seafood. Staff could be a bit friendlier. But, otherwise it's a 5/5.

Amazing Izakaya, this one is the franchise restaurant, but the quality is good. The services is nice and staff well trained. There are variety choice of food on the menus. I recommend the real sea food, which is really fresh, good and tasty likes calm or oyster. The restaurant is ope 24hours, but is quite crowed till late mid night. This restaurant is allow to smoke inside, might not be good for kids. The price is quite high but overall is really night restaurant.

One of my favourite izakaya chains , great value overall and a nice selection of seafood dishes. I recommend the kani(crab) miso and the sashimi

This restaurant is good. Draft beer, sashimi, live scallops were excellent. There have a lot of customer here.

It's really hard to get that bad service in Japan. I received no water, no tee, no towel. The fish quality was ok, but not good. One get this quality in the packages from supermarket The price is not worthy this price. I might have had two times bad chance. Nevertheless it's well situated and one just enters.

Was walking by and this place looked popular so decided to give it a try. It was easy to order they give you a tablet to order with. I had the crab miso - pretty good but small portion and wished I had some bread or something to dip it in. Also ordered the grilled squid and mushrooms...not very good at all...and lastly the grilled fatty salmon which was ok I guess but had some bones and again small portion.
